For a third year running, we are delighted to be the headline sponsors of the Chiptech Wheel at Lancaster on Ice!
Since its debut in 2018, the Wheel has become a much-loved centrepiece of Lancaster’s festive celebrations, offering breathtaking views across the city and creating memorable experiences for visitors of all ages as it overlooks the magical ice-skating rink in Dalton Square.
Lancaster on Ice transforms the heart of the city into a vibrant winter wonderland, complete with food and drink stalls, the enchanting ice rink surrounding the Queen Victoria Memorial, the cosy Tipi bar, and of course, the magnificent Chiptech Wheel.
Both the Wheel and Lancaster on Ice will be open to the public until January 4th, giving everyone plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere of the season.
Tickets do not need to be pre-booked and can be purchased directly from the box office on the day. With 24 carriages, including a wheelchair-accessible car, the Chiptech Wheel is open to everyone, so the whole family can come along too!
This year, we are also proud to support Age UK Lancashire, a charity that provides vital help to vulnerable, elderly and isolated people in our community, especially during the winter months. They provide tens of thousands of hours of support each year, helping people stay independent in their homes for longer, as well as offering respite and care through their community day clubs.
