Our CEO, David Hammond, wasn’t feeling very festive so we have taken it upon ourselves to reflect on 2021 and some of the wonderful things we must celebrate. Come along with us!
Here are a few highlights, but to experience the whole journey… click PLAY and watch our Merry Video!
Do you remember that the SpaceX program took the first-ever non-professional astronauts to space? – maybe this is the start of some new holiday destinations 🙂
Within health and innovation, the world’s first Malaria Vaccine was approved and over 9bn COVID vaccinations were administered around the world!
We made some brilliant steps in the right direction to saving the planet with 190 nations pledging to cut investment in coal and electric vehicles outselling diesel for the first time ever!
We are delighted that our local Morecambe was announced as the location for the new Eden Project of the North!
The Chiptech family has grown tremendously too with the addition of Su Baines, Jordan Beale, Christopher Cogle, Daniel Strickland, and Nicola Parker! This meant that we had to expand our offices within Lancaster University at the Health Innovation Campus, Lancaster University of course!
We also helped over 20 service providers get ready for digital by supporting them with SCAIP mapping and preparation. Our EVA and GO products were Age UK approved through our fab work with Taking Care, part of AXA Health. In addition, let’s not forget the wonderful work with Lifeline24 and Norfolk County Council developing the Mozart GO to help keep Miss A independent!
Above all, we want to say a huge Thank You to all the key workers out there who helped keep us and our community safe again this year! Thank you and a Merry Christmas to you all! This is not your standard Christmas video… click play, turn up the volume and come on a journey with us through 2021.
