Chiptech meets His Majesty The King

14 July 2025

On Monday, 9th June 2025, Chiptech were deeply honoured to meet His Majesty The King during his visit to Lancaster Castle as part of his role as The Duke of Lancaster. The visit included the Ceremony of the Keys, a tradition the Monarch has followed since Queen Victoria was handed the keys to the Castle in 1851. This was a celebration that connected thriving people from near and far, a reminder of why we do what we do, and a moment we will never forget.

Representing Chiptech at the reception inside the Castle were David Hammond, our European CEO; Su Baines, Head of Customer Support; and Alice Pickles, Wellbeing Champion, proudly representing Chiptech and the Electech Innovation Cluster alongside Teleplan Forsberg. It was a privilege to share what we do and demonstrate our dedication to the importance of ensuring people have safer, happier lives.

Every day, Chiptech is helping improve the lives of older and vulnerable people through innovative, reliable, and life-saving technology. Our team are focused on providing exceptional and long-lasting support tailored to customers’ needs, so that everyone can experience a higher quality of life. We are incredibly proud to be part of a vital industry that quietly makes a massive impact, providing people with independence, dignity, and security when they need it most.
