Chiptech is proud to announce its new partnership with Organic Mondays, bringing sustainable, organic period care products to the workplace for everyone who needs them.
Looking after our people means looking after not just the big milestones, but the small, everyday moments in life too, and contributes to our commitment to staff wellbeing, inclusivity and creating a supportive environment where employees can thrive.
Periods shouldn’t be something anyone has to plan around in secret, worry over, or feel too embarrassed to mention. By providing organic cotton period products free of charge, we’re aiming to remove barriers, reduce stigma, and ensure staff feel cared for throughout their working day.
Organic Mondays’ products are environmentally friendly, gentle on the body, and free from the harsh chemicals found in many plastic-based, traditional alternatives. According to the 2023 report, ‘Menstruation and Support at Work’ by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), access to essential period care in the workplace can significantly reduce stress and discomfort, allowing employees to focus, feel supported and perform at their best.
This partnership also supports Chiptech’s wider sustainability goals by reducing plastic waste and choosing responsibly sourced materials. Free from plastic and synthetic fibres, Organic Monday’s products biodegrade far more quickly than their conventional counterparts. Traditional alternatives are often made up of as much as 90% plastic, roughly the equivalent of four plastic bags per sanitary pad, and can take up to 800 years to break down in a landfill.
Our new Organic Monday period products will take just six months to biodegrade. It’s a small change that makes a meaningful difference for both people and the planet.
Charlotte Ellam, UK Sales Director at Organic Mondays said:
“It’s been a pleasure to work with Chiptech to introduce a period care solution. With Mondays’ sustainable, organic cotton period products, Chiptech has created a workplace that cares, one that lives its values of wellbeing, integrity and inclusivity. This is what the workplace of the future looks like.”
Stephanie Anderson, Executive Assistant and Wellbeing Lead at Chiptech added:
“At Chiptech, we believe wellbeing goes beyond words. Partnering with Organic Mondays allows us to offer a practical solution that supports our team’s health while aligning with our sustainability goals.”
Together, Chiptech and Organic Mondays are setting a new standard for workplace wellbeing and showing how thoughtful initiatives can create positive, lasting impact.
