Modern Slavery Statement
At Chiptech, we celebrate difference. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, colour, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Our team brings together a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, and we are proud of the culture this creates.
Our Commitment to Ethical Supply Chains
We are committed to ensuring that modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour have no place in our operations or supply chain.
To uphold this commitment:
- We source all parts and components exclusively from trusted suppliers and international distributors who share our values.
- We do not work with any supplier involved in modern slavery practices, whether directly or indirectly.
- As part of our supplier selection and onboarding process, we require evidence of a robust audit process that assesses labour standard throughout their own supply chain.
- We expect suppliers to demonstrate that:
- They are responsible employers.
- They actively prevent, detect, and respond to modern slavery risks.
- They maintain transparency and traceability in their sourcing.
- Where appropriate we may request additional information, certifications, or third-party audit results to ensure ongoing compliance.
Governance and Ownership
Chiptech requires all suppliers to maintain clear governance structures for managing modern slavery risks. Each supplier must have an up-to-date Modern Slavery Statement or equivalent policy (ie Human Rights) that is approved at a senior level within their organisation. The statement must detail how the supplier identifies, prevents, and addresses risks of forced labour, human trafficking, and child labour within their operations and supply chain. Furthermore, they must demonstrate compliance with Chiptech’s Modern Slavery Statement through the following means:
- Provide Chiptech with a Modern Slavery/Human Rights Statement
- Provide evidence of Modern Slavery standards throughout their supply chain
- Permit Chiptech to conduct remote audits where risks are identified
- Cooperate with requests for additional information, evidence, or references concerning labour practices and supply chain transparency
Continuous Improvement
We recognise that modern slavery risks evolve. We therefore review our processes regularly and work collaboratively with suppliers to strengthen ethical practices across the full supply chain.
